Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-06-25

The short version: Cruxa is a free, bring-your-own-key browser tool provided "as is". Its output is AI-generated, may be wrong, and is not investment advice. You're responsible for your own API keys, your own decisions, and complying with the AI providers' and websites' terms.

1. Acceptance

By installing or using the Cruxa browser extension (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Cruxa reads a document on a web page you choose and produces a structured summary using a third-party AI model that you configure with your own API key. Cruxa runs in your browser; it has no server, account, or backend. The Service is provided free of charge and may change or be discontinued at any time.

3. Bring your own key & third-party providers

4. Acceptable use

5. Not investment advice

Cruxa is an information tool. Its output is generated by AI, may contain errors or omissions, and does not constitute financial, investment, legal, tax, or other professional advice, nor a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. You are solely responsible for your decisions and for independently verifying any information before relying on it.

6. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any output is accurate or complete.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of Cruxa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or trading/investment losses, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Because the Service is provided free of charge, the developer's total liability is limited to the amount you paid for it, which is zero.

8. Intellectual property

The Cruxa extension, its name, and its design are the property of their developer. The documents you summarize remain the property of their respective owners, and the AI output is generated by the third-party model you selected. You are responsible for how you use any output.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms or the Service from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

12. Contact
